Pontardawe Car Sales was established in the late 1970s by Michael James. Michael has long been respected in the local area for his strong reputation and is well regarded within the motor trade. In addition to owning the Town Centre Garage, he also served as Mayor, County Councillor, and Cabinet Member for Neath Port Talbot Council.

His son Craig grew up around the garage from a young age, and his passion for cars has only grown over the years. Since around 2004, it has been his full-time livelihood. Craig is deeply dedicated to this family-run business and has built a solid reputation for offering high-quality, hand-picked vehicles both locally and across the UK. Many of his customers return time and again, a testament to the trust and satisfaction they experience.

Craig has also earned the distinction of being the only Trading Standards Approved motor dealer in the county. Working alongside him is his nephew Jacob, who is known for his excellent customer service and relaxed, friendly approach—helping customers feel at ease when purchasing their next vehicle.
